Our Education Policy

  • We strive to deliver training programs which have been designed to support the entire surgical team, optimizing the use of the Versius surgical
Training Pathway
E – learning Online Modules – To be done at home

  • 13 Online modules
  • Develop familiarity with functionality and capability of Versius
  •  Prepares teams for Practical Training
  • Average 10 hours completion time

Versius Trainer Training – To be done in your hospital

  • Every console comes with a Versius Trainer Simulator
  • 15 virtual tasks ranging from simple to complex tasks
  • Develop and refine motor and cognitive skills
  • Minimum 6 hrs 30 mins

3 days Lab Training

  • Practical Training for the entire surgical team, provided by dedicated team of CMR Technical Trainers
  • Our dedicated team of trainers will equip surgeons and OR staff with the knowledge and capabilities necessary to set up, drape, operate and reprocess the system competently
  • NB – Will not include surgical skills training

Case Observation

  • Case Observation in one of our Installed accounts in Egypt
  • Understanding philosophy of port placement and BSU placement on live cases

1st Case Plan

  • Recommended Minor Case to start Robotic Program depending on surgical specialty
Proposed Training Pathway for Conference
Targeted trainees
The targeted trainees include lead surgeons who are passionate about robotic surgery and recommend to have laparoscopic background.
Essential elements of training
The training program that will be executed in a representative clinical training center has been derived from the validated training program and comprises of the elements shown in the table below:
Proposed Training
Surgeons will have access on CMR E-learning modules before conference.

Each surgeon will have 3 hrs during conference work shop with the Versius Trainer (simulator) as initial Step to continue full training pathway in ATG training Center.
